$4 SHIPLAP Wall With Sharpie
Yes you read that right.
If you have kids they have probably drawn on your walls once or twice, we have a creative little one and she’s done it plenty.
Maybe get the kids out of the house then because you don’t want them to see this 😂
This cost me $3.50 at, well you know it, Home Depot.
I simply drew lines on the wall with a pencil first, 6 inches apart. Started from the baseboard trim and went up.
I used a level as a ruler so I could keep everything straight, helped out a ton.
After all my lines were drawn, I started tracing them with the paint Sharpie. DONT worry about the little nicks where the lines meet each other, that adds character. If you don’t want them, you’d need to use a ruler that is as long as the wall.
Tip: if you mess up, paint it over and draw again 😅 I didn’t mess up too bad. But I live without regrets so if I mess up I take some time to think if I fix it or leave it.
I’ve learned to embrace my mistakes as ‘character building’ 🤣
This is in my girls bedroom. I’m transitioning them from a baby room to a big girl room. And they love it.
I’m also loving it 😍
NOTES: make sure to account for how thick your Sharpie tip is when you’re marking the lines with a pencil.
