Materials

One round hello sign- purchased at Dollar Tree.

Faux floral-purchased at Dollar tree

Paint-Misty pink, and celery-I'm using chalk paint

One decorative treat bag- I purchased a pack of ten from Dollar Tree

Scissors

Floral snips

Mod Podge

Paint brush

Twine

Hot glue

First, take your round hello sign, and apply your paint. I am using a chalk paint, and it is called celery.

I gave it around two coats of paint, and used my heat gun to help dry it a little quicker.

Next, take some paint and begin to paint your letters. For this, I am using a paint called misty pink. I used a smaller paint brush for this step. Give it about two coats of paint, and set it aside to allow it to dry.

Using your scissors, begin to cut out any of the decorative designs on your paper treat bag. I was able to find the hummingbird design at my local Dollar Tree. Cut out your designs, and set them aside.

Now you are ready to apply some mod podge to your cut out designs. Using a paint brush apply a small amount of mod podge to the back of each cut out design you decide to use. After you have applied it onto the back side, flip your cut out designs over, and apply them onto your wood sign. Gently press each one down, and smooth them out.

Using your paint brush, add some mod podge over each cut out design once you have added it onto your wood sign. You can use a heat gun, or blow dryer to help with drying your mod podge.

Next, begin to apply your twine around the outer section of your round sign. Using your hot glue, apply it around the outer section, and apply your twine on top of the hot glue. Continue this step until you come to a full circle with your twine.

After, take your floral snips, and cut your flowers. I removed the stems on each flower. Once I did this, I use some hot glue, and glued each flower to my sign.

Your hello wooden sign is now complete! I loved how quick, and easy it was to decorate this sign. Let me know when, and if you decide to create your very own design. I'll see you soon.
