DIY Pallet Sign

At my house, you’ll see a trend…we like to incorporate the word “hope” into our decor.
Like many projects, I started this project with no specific details in mind; except that I knew I wanted a pallet sign.

I had a pallet that I took apart and decided to just start and see what would happen…
I placed a few of the board together, grabbed a couple stakes to hold my boards together, and started screwing them in.
I wasn’t going for perfection (I’m so glad I like the “rustic” look), so I lined the pieces up the best I could and didn’t bother measuring or being too picky.
I thought I should keep it simple, so I decided to go with my well-loved word “hope“.

I stenciled the word on and then used a Sharpie to actually draw it on the sign.
After I was done drawing I allowed the ink to dry and brushed Varathane over the entire sign to preserve and brighten the sign. I'm so happy with the way it turned out! And I love the price! ($0).
