I saw Brittany Merth post her feather duster wall art and I was inspired to make my own! I'm always looking for something artsy to hang on my bare living room walls and really don't want to spend a lot of money. I'm always looking for something unique, and this really did the trick! All I needed to buy was a feather duster, blank canvas and some paints!
I started with the darkest color blue paint. I poured it on to a plastic plate and dipped in my feather duster. Then I just went crazy on the canvas. Needless to say, it was kind of exhilirating :)
Here's the beginning of my first layer.
After I finished a layer with the dark blue, I repeated the same process with a lighter blue paint and then a silver metallic paint as well. I let it dry overnight and...
Voila! My new abstract wall art!!!! I'm in love!!! Thank you Brittany Merth!
