How to Make Homemade Texture Paint

Well times we live in now are really pushing all imagination at least in my case. It is not easy just to go to the store and get what you need so I decided to play a bit with what I have. My goal is to create painting medium. My love for painting started with texture paintings since it seams much easier to make so I thought …lol I have made several and liked it. There is nothing better that adding texture and dimension to your paper crafting projects. I also use that mix for some stencils. Wait till I show you what can you do with it … Homemade medium is awesome! Canvas texture painting , stenciling is looking much better with it
Don’t get me wrong those products below are super good but they are not always available when crafting juices are flowing .. so you got to make some yourself
Homemade Texture Paint Medium
- 1/3 cup of Baking soda
- 1 T of glue
- 1T White Paint
- 2 T of water
How to make Homemade medium for crafting
Mix all ingredients together and add more water or baking soda depending on your application.
It is all about mixing all together well
So this is perfect pouring paint texture
this one is perfect for what I like to do for stencils. It needs to be a bit thicker so that means you will need to add some more baking soda
I absolutely love to work with texture paint for all different projects

Question…. I’ve a ceramic vase I’d like to paint. Will this work or will it chip? And do we use a sealer? I love your work by the way!
