Pottery Barn Inspired Beach Sign

I recently saw this amazing beach sign on Pottery Barn's web page and wanted it for my wall above my TV. I'm doing a gallery wall around my TV and thought this would be a great place to start. They didn't have it in the store, but I could have ordered it. It was $59 plus $11 for shipping and handling, a grand total of $70! I thought that was a little too much so I decided to have a go at making it myself.

Total ... $18.52

A 4'x 8" plank of pine wood

8' of rope

1 can of stain

One pack of D ring hooks to hang your art

5" stencils

Paint for stencils

Small paint brush

Cut two blocks of wood 3" x 8" for the back. (furring strip}
I'm working on my gallery wall, so be sure to visit my blog for more DIY projects.
I love Pottery barn, but I also love a challenge and I love how it turned out!
