How do I treat my wall before apply the self sticking wallpaper?

Here's some info. If your wall is already painted it seems like you just wash it and dry it. I don't think I would install peel and stick wallpaper over FLAT paint. I would not be concerned if it was a satin, eggshell or semigloss paint.

Just wash them with any all-purpose cleaner.

I would wipe it down to be sure there is no dust, dirt or webs.

Wash with warm soapy water, I prefer blue Dawn, and a good microfiber cloth that won't leave any lint behind. Once it dries, you are ready to begin.

TSP is the best product to clean walls - it is found at home depot, lowes and walmart

MAke sure it is clean and dry. Don't apply over fresh paint.

You prepare the walls with "Size". Follow instruction on container. It seals the walls and helps paper to adhere. Best wishes.
