Just a scrap of wood, some homemade chalk paint and an unexpected zip of fun......you too could craft this easy Farm House Rooster. Everyone should own a Jig Saw, safety glasses for crafting some fun home décor projects
First I used just some chalk to draw the rooster...you can find many images online , books etc. using chalk is good so you can erase easily if needed. once I had my image outline done I cut the rooster out using a Jigsaw....ladies if you don't have a Jigsaw get one they are easy to use and great for wood projects.
once it was cut out I painted her up with some homemade chalk paint, just regular craft paint and a bit of baking soda. Once it was dry I sanded all the edges.
I thought it would be fun to use clothes pins for the feet and top head feathers.
An easy inexpensive craft! To see more you are welcome on over to Sweet Tea N' Salty Air http://mrsblackstone.blogspot.com

Toni Johnson on Jan 15, 2017This is really cute and love how you used the clothes pins for the feet and the comb. PS, hubs has a jigsaw, I will have to learn how to use it!
