Poinsettia in darkness?

Ann|The Apple Street Cottage on Dec 20, 2017
Starting in the Fall - around October, it needs to be in total darkness from 5pm to 8am the next day. During the day, put it in the sun. You should see red leaves in time for Christmas.Helpful Reply -

If you haven't done this in time, I suggest faux flowers this year. I can't grow anything but mold so my house is full of faux flowers. Even outside in the 4 seasons'. No one knows the difference so I buy them once and enjoy them all year, every year.Helpful Reply -
