Muriel J Moore on Sep 22, 2016I have an old (vintage 1955-1965) Ethan Allen table. I've been "playing" with the idea of painting the legs (after sanding, of course) and sanding and restaining the top a cherry colour. It's a big project because I live in a small apartment, but I need to do something to add some interest to the "must be white wash walls" that tenants are not permitted to paint. The cabinets are a pretty cherry-ish colour and I'm thinking of painting the legs anything but white...probably a powder blue. It's sort of like the project shown, but with a little twist, what do you think?

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Did you seal the top with anything ?
Did you paint the top with the same as you did the legs and then stain over it? I have never done this but want to...how dark of a stain did you use to get this look. it is the beachy look I am looking for
