Vanity Chair Makeover

I’m sharing with you today my Vanity Chair Makeover that I finished this weekend. I found the vanity chair at a thrift store for $8 and it was black. I knew I wanted to paint it gold and soften the look with a pretty slipcover too. It was very easy to do and I’m sharing how below too.
I found the Vanity table at Marshalls and flipped for it. It didn’t have a price tag on it so I asked someone for the price and because it had two small cracks they gave it to me for $100. I was so excited.
I love the way the chair turned out and looks a lot more feminine and girly now.
On the vanity I have some pretty vintage items like this pretty tiara I found at a thrift store that I love.
Here's how it looked before. it was black and was $8 at a thrift store.
I took the cushion off and took it and the mirror outside and spray painted three coats of Krylon Gold Paint on it.
All the step by step how to make the slipcover is on the blog. Please come on over by clicking the link.
I added some pretty things I love like this Tiara I found at a thrift store for $5 many years ago.
I love pink roses and shared last week Pink Roses 10 Ways so you can check that out too if you like.
I found these sconces at a florist shop on a trip we took many years ago and just LOVE them. It adds some nice ambient lighting too at night when we like.

Step by step how to make the slipcover is on the blog.

I love the way the my vanity chair and slipcover turned out. I love the girly charm and femininity.
Our Master Bedroom (to see the rest go to House Tour) is blue and I tried to make sure it isn’t very feminine since my hubs had already seen so many pink roses in the previous home and he’s ok with it in our kitchen. This is sort of my little corner…lol.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic day, Lisa
