Kitchen on a Budget
Recently married, new state, new house. Although we are renting it right now, we plan to purchase it next year. But until that day comes we are remodeling on a budget. The entire house was antiquated wallpaper so every room had to be painted. The real project though was the kitchen.
It was dark and dirty. And that flooring is carpet, who puts carpet in the kitchen?
And that is the extent of cabinets. Purchased a hutch from the thrift store for additional storage.
Took cabinet doors off and scrubbed everything. Primed and painted them white. Also tore out carpet.
Used stick down tiles for now.
When we purchase the home we plan a total remodel but for now I love the transformation!

I couldn't either. We took the house sight unseen, as we were in Arizona. My new sister in law seen it before us, as she was gonna to start cleaning as a wedding gift. When she seen it,she thought oh no we were not going to be happy. But we love the place, it just needs some tlc.
