I'm wondering how i could update this moss rock fireplace?
It's very dark & covers a whole wall in the room. I thought about putting Airstone over the moss rock, but I don't think I can because it's not a flat surface.
I love red brick! Your fireplace is really nice. Maybe you could build a new surround and leave some of the brick exposed?
Thanks! We'll consider it.

Have you seen fireplaces that have been updated with paint? They are really transformed and look almost totally different than before. We did it in a home several years ago and it was amazing the difference it made!
That's what we are learning towards.
Thanks!
