Vintage end tables

I picked up these vintage end tables to redo for a show. They had a beautiful top, but there was a bit of water damage, and they overall needed some work! I opted to hand paint them since I decided to do a weathered gray on the base and keep the top stained. I sanded the top to bare wood, applied some preconditioner and them started staining using Antique walnut/ Java gel stain. I sanded the base and applied driftwood gray milk paint, followed by a wash of antique white. They then got distressed and a dark glaze was applied. I sealed everything up by spraying some flat poly over the whole piece. I love the two tone combo and hope they find a new home!
