Feeling Proud: Off the Counter $1 Store Storage

I took a coat rack from the Dollar Store along with 2 shower curtain hooks and spray painted them antique bronze. I knew I didn't want anything to take up my very little counter space, so I suspended a tension rod inside my stove vent fan. I attached the coat rack to the tension rod with the hooks and instant kitchen storage and everything right where I need it.

Great job! Now giving me ideas. I am space challenged too and I have 2 crocks cluttered with the "most used" items - I cook a LOT and everyday for the dogs. Great job! Thanks! -

Good idea thanks for sharing! I like the $ store too! You can also spray paint the clothespins...I sprayed some accidentally and it didn't come off...lol -

How true what would we do without the dollar store! It filled the space left when the dime store used to take care of the homemakers budgets,and now we find treasures in it. -

I find those plastic clips useful but annoying--why would you not use "S" hooks instead? -

You could use S-hooks if you wanted, or nothing at all, as the rack has six hooks already. I choose the plastic hooks to hold items that will hang on a hook -
