Got children's bins from Ikea from a system called trofast. They are shallow about 3 inches high and just fit on fridge shelf lengthwise. All small containers went into these so when I need something I pull the bin out, put it on the counter and can easily get to those small items which used to be at the back of the shelf. No more crawling into fridge to retrieve them
