Cute Stepping Stones For Your Garden

Zee
by Zee
Stepping stones add a nice texture to any garden setting. I have made stones from concrete molds, plain concrete stones, pebbles and concrete mix. All have their own distinct personality. This particular project is sooo easy, inexpensive and quick.
BLANK CANVAS
These blanks were very inexpensive, so bought them instead of making my own for this quick project.
SOFT SEA GREEN
I chose a soft green for these stones which are going to be placed into my Serenity Garden. Any color would work, depending on your garden theme and colorscape.
LACE CAN BE A GREAT ADDITION TO A ROSE GARDEN
I used a paper cake doily for a stencil. Any stencil would work, but I wanted a delicate look. MIxing something not so delicate --like concrete with a lacey look worked for me.
DELICATELY DELIGHTFUL
I love the way they turned out. Thinking of what I might could use for stencils in the future and mixing base color with something brighter. Ummm.
LOOKS LIKE POWDERED SUGAR ON A CAKE.
TIME IS THE KEY
I made these stones many years ago. I love using found object for interest. These stones have held up over many hot summers and wet winters.
