Vertical gardening is the answer for people with a small outdoor space. There are all sorts of ways to achieve this and one of the latest trends is to use the wooly pockets available in stores right now.
But if your frugal like me, you may want to try making your own! This project uses recycled denim and will take you about an hour. For full instructions follow the attached link.
DIY Plant Pockets
Use old jeans and an old vinyl tablecloth for the backing
Simply use any square or rectangular object for your template
Embellish them with buttons, sew on ribbons or use fabric paint to add lettering, like herbs etc.
Plant them up and your done :)
