Updating driveway

The state of NC is busy ripping up roads and front yards due to yet another highway expansion. The first 4 feet of our yard now belongs to the state and they are busy ripping out trees, bushes, flowers, etc.. This naturally included the entrance to our driveway. We have been busy replanting flower beds and trying to figure out what to do. While visiting an antique store, we saw some interesting ideas with posts. As our home is just a plain American Farm House, we had to think plain and simple. Hubby set wooden posts this morning in concrete. This afternoon he put the vinyl sleeves on and added the solar lights. We found the solar lights for only $25.00 each. With the lights, wooden posts, vinyl sleeves and Quik-Krete we have about $100.00 in this project and we are so happy with it.
