I found a rusty piece that looked like it might of been part of a chandelier. After dragging it from a free pile and home I sat it out in plain sight so I could think what I was going to make with it. Then it hit me.....that would make a cool wind chime top. After my idea came to me I started looking around what I could use.

This is a glass piece I had, but don't know what it was from. I just thought it was pretty. So I glued that onto the rusty piece . It looks like it was meant to be.
After I gathered items I had around I got some fish string and started stringing my glass beads. I was going to use the colored string in the picture, but it was to thick and wouldn't work for the beads.
Here is the final result of my whimsical windchime.
I absolutely love how it all came together and I really enjoyed putting it together. It makes a beautiful sound in my garden.
The finished wind chime project, I hope you enjoyed!
