A typical ranch on a corner lot with simple lines and a lack of privacy.
Our client's wanted a modern solution that would increase privacy and create a front courtyard. We used carefully placed cedar screens to create privacy. Granite boulders and completed the project.
The landscape was tired and left the home exposed on two sides.
fold a section of the yard into a courtyard that now belongs to the view from the front yard- not the neighborhood.
An overlap in the screens allows a stepping stone path to wind through to the mailbox.
A view into the courtyard as you approach the front door. The granite boulders offer a contrast to the screens, which are very light on their feet.
The neighbors and traffic are now screened. This effect will increase as the plants grow in.
