I spray the perimeter of my property and base of my house with vinegar once a month.
WE used Sevin dust on our patio and all over the yard to get rid of the fleas in TN. It worked! No more fleas on our pets from our fenced yard! It takes 10 days and redo for any new hatchlings. We never had fleas again. WE sprinkled it just light enough to see it in the fenced in part of the yard. It took more than one bag, but it was worth it! The pets can do business on it, but don't leave them on it any more than needed. I have never known it to harm any pet, Grandma told me it was safe for them, but after all it is a chemical.
Salt. Just take a container of table salt and sprinkle it all around. We had a cat that hung out on the patio. When he got fleas we sprinkled salt out there and they all went away. It lasts a few weeks. It's safe and cheap.
Sevin dust for yard, safe for pets. Follow directions
