What I use is a bee trap or wasp trap you put liquid soap and sugar water in it and they can't get out.

How To Trap and Kill Carpenter Bees and Wasps Too

Without bees, the world would really be in trouble! Bees pollinate 70 different types of the 100 crop species that make up most of the world’s food. In fact, the world may already have a problem. Honey bees have been dying out inexplicably in some regions. They have been leaving their beehives in the winter when they should be hibernating and dying in the cold. Scientists hypothesize that this is happening in part because people are afraid of bees and often spray dangerous chemicals to kill hem.
Here is a DIY solution:

Hi Jeannine, sorry to ask, but do you really want to kill bees or wasps and or yellow jackets? Bees are really important to our environment and I hate for you to trap them. Just something to think about. Hope I didn't make you mad.
You can also use it as a repellent, by mixing an 80% Pine Sol, 20% water solution and spraying areas you want to keep free of these stinging pests.
Hi Jeannine. Put the Pine Sol in a spray bottle and dilute it with a little water. Spray the wood where the bees are boring. If there is a good size hole already, put some Pine Sol full strength on a cotton ball and stuff it in the hole. Good luck Jeannine.
The best way to redirect bees from your yard is to eliminate what attracts them. Bees are hardworking and necessary to the environment. They aren't pests like wasps and mosquitoes. Please don't harm them. Good luck and stay safe!
Don't kill the bees! We need them for our ecosystem!!!
Bees are necessary for our gardens, Maybe you could have someone come in and move the hive.
Do your homework and find out what bees or wasps you are trying to kill. If they are a danger to you or pets that is a different story. If they are just AROUND leave them alone. Without bees you would not have food. Look up honeybee, wasps and hornets and find out what you have first before you take any action. Some are dangerous like bald faced hornets, and yellow jackets that are aggressive. Don't just kill to kill.
I spray the holes with WD 40 or equivalent. It coats the wings prevent flight and kills the eggs.
