Slope landscape..... How do we go about the landscaping when we have ?
The hill side is sloped and the septic lines are on the hill side so we can’t replant tress? We are worried about rain erosion, what would be a good easy to maintain way to landscape
Looking down from the top of the road ( we are building a new house) I was wanting to incorporate a water stream in or dry stream

Absolutely beautiful! You are very blessed. I would have the area terraced and incorporate native plants (think Xeriscaping), that would help prevent erosion yet not interfere with whatever septic system you have, so nothing with invasive root systems. Research your plants carefully. I like the idea of a dry Creek bed too. Be sure to incorporate some sort of upper patio or fire pit or seating area,as in the last photo looking down toward the house is a spectacular view and must be awesome at night. You want to sit out there and enjoy the view, sipping beverages around a fire!

i live in AR . Yes we have tons of deer here. The deer are like dogs😊 I hear they eat the plants so I know I have to take that into consideration. Thank you for your help any advice is greatly appreciated
Terracing and an upper patio/s sound like a good plan. There are numerous plants that are deer resistant. A small bridge over a dry but possibly a wet stream when it rains sounds like a good idea. Enjoy the new house and the garden.
Junipers are used for holding up a wall to keep it from erosion.
I would hard scape it with drains under the hard scape to divert water around house instead of at it. Beautiful home! I love the fire pit patio idea! What type of roofing is this?
Thank you. The roof at this time is just (red board) I think also a form of hardy board except for the roof. We will start shingles in the near future.
sloped land is perfect for a rock garden with lots of succulents, hens and chicks, etc. They are low rooting and are easy to maintain. Sedums are great ground cover. make rows of rocks and rows of sedum of different kinds. http://editpower.club/effect.html
