What colour should I paint the top part?
My first Upcycle and I’m pleased with it just don’t know what colour to paint the top part. I’ve painted a bit of it pastel pink for now but I will change that.

I actually like the pink - maybe add some more gold accents?
Yeah I was thinking add some gold leaf around the rim of the table top around the edge?
it looks very nice and you can leave the top black or even just distress the top using white and pink mixed together
I personally like pink and black together. It has always been a favorite of mine.
Gold and black roses cascading across the top would be very femine but have some contrast at the same time.
Gold and then you would be good with keeping the pink. Perhaps add a design to it and leave it black.
Hi, Midnight Blue? Maroon? Charcoal Grey? Silver?
Maybe a light mint color? Or white? Even a metallic gold would be pretty.
How about a light gray with some gold?

Sorry I haven't replied back everyone I've been so stuck in working on this project. You have all helped me with this table and inspired me with what techniques I could use in my next projects. This is the complete side table. I hope everyone likes my decisions in colours. I will be doing up more projects in the future so please follow me on Hometalk, Pinterest and Instagram to see more.
Thanks everyone yet again xx
