How do I fix a crack in a pottery fountain?
There is a large crack that goes completely through the pottery (I'm not sure what to call the material but it looks like clay pottery) from top to underneath. We tried the black liquid sealer on top and bottom and it still leaks. Can this be fixed or is it time to toss it?

A two part waterproof epoxy will probably do the trick. You can get it at hardware stores or on Amazon.
Hi Sally I agree with Kim on the epoxy idea, that's about the toughest last resort you can go for. I think it would work though! If the crack is too wide you may have to fill it with a thicker clear caulk first and then apply the epoxy - good luck!
here is info it just depends on what your material of the fountain is

I think epoxy would work too!
I had very good luck with liquid Flex Seal in a can. The secret seems to be to apply it liberally and several coats.
You cause a filler
If none of the fixes work, you could go ahead and break it and use for a flower bed. My sister did that and it is so lovely.

You could repair with Bondo auto repair. over fill and sand down when dry. Then paint.
Just use plastic putty knife some ceramic epoxy onto the blade. Use it to apply it over the chip or crack on the ceramic fountain. Allow it to dry.
