It can get slippery when wet. I have seen it used outside, but typically on an open porch.
You could also frame them into picture frame decore!
You could use them on stair risers outside. I have seen it done using pretty Mexican tiles, very bright and beautiful. Here's a link where you can get some ideas....

Make a table top, use for stair risers, if you have an outdoor kitchen, use as a counter top. Make serving trays, coasters or trivits. Whatever you decide do not toss in the trash, you can always give away to someone that can use them. I use Nextdoor.com to give away unwanted items.
