DIY Mercury Glass Dollar Store Vase
What is your question regarding dollar store vases?
I buy a few sheets of 12" x 12" Christmas themed heavy scrapbook paper at Michaels or Hobby Lobby priced from $0.59 - $0.79, (but always almost a "buy one get one free" ) during the holiday season. I measure the height and diameter of my vase and cut a sheet of paper accordingly, roll the paper design side out and slip inside the vase. Once inside the vase, the paper unrolls to fit the vase exactly. I place them around in my dining room, living room and den. Sometimes I use some on my mantel as a back drop for smaller decor. I use both narrow and wide "vases" and place them on short book stack of varying heights and eave them empty. Other times I use one of the narrow vases to hold the long matchsticks I use for lighting our fireplace. Last Christmas, I purchased some round handpainted ceramic tags (with a hole at the top) at a craft show. I bought cream tags/circles with a tiny green Christmas tree painted on them; then tied a tag to the ends of several 1/4" wide, 12" long pieces of cloth ribbon (red, green, white, plaid, silver, the choices abound) . I took a few pieces of those ribbons and taped them on the inside of the vase, far enough down for the decorated ends to hang 1/3 to 3/4 of the way down the outside of the vase, placed a battery operated votive in the bottom of each vase and they were beautiful. I placed them in different areas on the floor to ceiling built-in bookcases in my den and received many compliments from friends and family. The sky's the limit with these vases. I'm sure you will find many examples of decorative uses here on hometalk or visiting Pinterest. Have fun!
You could paint or decoupage them!
As you have so many, find a place to donate them that will have a great use for them! For example, our trash collection company runs a ReSource Depot where they sell items for recycling/crafting at just $5 a bin, $10 per cart. 😎

What is your project?
Hello. I would donate half of them away or offer on Craigslist. Then consider up styling the remainder to suit your decor.
Hi! I like to partly fill them with seasonal items like sea shells or Christmas ornaments. Stay well!
Here's lots of fab ideas from other Hometalkers - you could probably do all of them with that many vases!

How can I use dollar store glass vases that I have in 3 sizes?
This is what I did...https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2019/12/diy-glitter-candle-holder.html
Here is what I did with those.. https://www.homeroad.net/2019/01/how-to-make-pedestal-vase.html#more
Since you have 3, I would make a centerpiece and fill with seasonal items. You could do sand with shells for summer/beach feel. Red/White/Blue for patriotic holidays. Orange & Black for halloween then orange & brown for thanksgiving. Red & Green Christmas or gold or silver - depending on your style.
Thank you
