How would you use a built in wine rack if you don't drink wine?

The rack is above the refrigerator in my apt, so I can't remove or paint it. Thanks!

Store water bottles, glassware, or rolling pins.
I put sparkling juices in mine since I’m not a wine drinker either. You can put empty bottles in, open side toward you, add flowers where the cork would go.
Roll up kitchen towels instead of folding them. Use for saran wrap, foil, waxed paper. Buy the tall thin round storage containers with snap on lids for snacks.
Roll up your magazines (espcially Bon Appeitit) fand place them in your wine rack or handy reference in the kitchen.

You can roll up kitchen towels and put them in the spots. You can also use it to hold other bottles, soda, olive oil, etc.
Maybe you can use it to hold condiments or jars that don't need refrigeration yet. Or you could roll up kitchen towels and store them there for when you want to change out your drying towel.

Hello. I would see if I could remove the dividers and use it for cookbook storage or some other decorative storage maybe nesting mixing bowls or some of the other kitchen storage use
My husband removed the dividers in ours and we use the space for extra storage now.
Hi Maggie, wine racks are brilliant for storing canned foods and since yours is in the kitchen it's the perfect spot for it too.
Soda club soda you could get old pringles cans and paint them then slide them into the slots and use them for storage to
Since it is above your fridge that is the problem. You could store water or sodas. I would take the grate down carefully and replace it if you move. This way you could at least store dishes that you do not use often.
You could put these glass cups in it and store items in it (maybe not pens like it shows here, but faux flowers, etc.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4LNdr_DTcU
Could you hang a picture on it?
Slide your saran wrap, aluminum foil and parchment paper in the holes. or you can store glass jars for use on other purposes. or you can roll up your dishtowels on a paper towel cardboard, and insert in the holes.
If you're a collector you could place some very pretty vintage bottles in there.
Store towels or rolling pins.
Great place to store beer and soda.
