You could always use Command Hooks to hang them.

That's a truly odd configuration. If you go with ceiling mount, it appears it would have to extend beyond the duct work above. You could go with a double valance, 1 on the shorter tall door and a second below running the entire width (or curtain on the 2nd, lower length). However, I think I would just leave it "as is".

You could hang hooks in a straight line across the front of all the blinds on the ceiling. Hang really long curtains from those and they will fall over the blinds. If you want to be able to open/close you'd have to put up curtain rods on the ceiling from wall to wall. They can be 2 separate ones that meet where the windows and door meet.

I agree with the other commenters, my first thought was ceiling hooks than you could hang two rods one for the smaller window and one for the larger. You could consider hanging a valance across the top of the larger window and then across the top of the smaller window AND the larger window hang a curtain all the way across to make it look a little more uniform.

I would use a tension rod on the large window. You can hang a rod from the ceiling or the side walls if you choose. I would make an "L" bracket out of wood to fit the space on the left side of the small window. making the "L" angle longer. Screw it into the space above the small window. This wood allow a tension rod from the wall on the left and the bracket on the right. Paint it the color of your walls and no one would notice.

All good ideas. I would forget about hanging curtains on the shorter window and just go with the shade. It looks like the shorter window is stationary so I would put a tall potted plant there for privacy and to fill the corner. If you pretend that the shorter window is just a piece of glass that gives you more options for the patio window, do just a valance or curtains.

If I had this odd configuration I would add a block of wood between the two shades. Than you could use command hooks to hold a light weight rod above each window. Or just use ceiling hooks and go all the way across.

WOW Thats odd.... Hard to see the wall profile on the inside, but a large curtain that covers both....??

Why not go with wooden slatted blinds if they fit your decor?

Is the larger window a sliding door access to an outdoor balcony?

I would use a tension rod on the big window and they have rods that swing and only attach to one side of the wall. I would use that on the other window.

i would use tension rod or seek information from blinds people .. They do have answer to all issues that architects are creating building and designing
