Repurposing...Wall Shelf to Window Shelf...NO TOOLS!

I painted an old oak wall shelf...then just rested it over my cabinets...instant display space! Easy to take down and clean. The best part was I didn't have to utter those terrifying words "Honey, I need to hang something..."

You are lucky to live in Michigan. Where I live (California) you not only have to nail down the shelf, but you have to "nail down" the stuff on the shelf as well (earthquakes, you know). Cute stuff and cute shelf though!
