Transform Your Old Sweaters Into Throw Pillows
Grab some old sweaters to make these super cute round throw pillows.
I picked up this sweater at our local thrift store for $5 and got some matching yarn from Michaels.
Next I cut out a circle. If you want a square pillow you can do that instead.
Next I pinned it all together before giving it a straight stitch.
I didn't sew it all up I left about 8 inches open to add my pillow insert. You can also add pillow stuffing however I find it doesn't work to well with knit. It tends to stretch the knit out and leaves it lumpy. Once my pillow insert was in I used a needle and thread to sew the rest up.

Next I made some pom pom with this easy DIY pom pom kit. I've wanted to try this for sso long! I'll tell you what it's a game changer. The pom poms come out perfect every time and it only takes about 3-4 minutes to make one.
You simply wrap the yarn around these plastics.
Then you cut it and tie a knot to secure all the fluffiness.
And to finish it off you just trim the pom pom to shape it. That's it. Super easy.

It's not the sweater that makes these pillows so special; it's the pom-poms.

Yeah; if you like, you could use any piece of fabric in your color choice, and make matching pompoms to cover one whole side of the pillow.
