Thrift Store Sign Makeover

by EngineerMommy
I picked up this sign from the thrift store, not knowing exactly what I would do with it. I loved the size and shape of the frame, and knew I would find a way to incorporate it into my home!
Here is what it looked like when I picked it up from the thrift store. I only paid a few bucks for it.
I first painted the frame with a watered-down pink paint. I watered down the paint so that the wood grain would show through, although that may not be easily visible in this picture.
I then printed out my new sign directly on some coordinating wrapping paper. I cut out the paper to fit the sign.
I then adhered the wrapping paper to the sign and hung up my sign in my daughter's room! Needless to say, she LOVES it and thinks that this sign officially makes her a princess!
