This craft project is super easy and yet still you are recycling!
I wanted a 2 toned look of rust color and gold. I took my can and spray painted rust color first.Then after dry I dust painted with gold metallic spray paint.Dry.
Take a drill and drill a hole in the bottom of the can {If not a drill you can use a hammer and a nail for hole}.
Fill cans with pebbles or rocks for good drainage and weight for your pots.Add flowers.For added decoration I used burlap ribbon, then I stencil the letters FALL unto the fronts.
After dry fill cans with flowers water and enjoy! {plastic clear drainage planter tray were added to the bottoms to help with flowers and draining stains.}
Love this look in place of a flower box,on the shelf of my new garden cottage.
Enjoyed the project?
