I have some great planters on my front porch. I love them, but this time of year when it's turning cold outside they sit empty and I hate that! I wanted to use them in my Holiday decorating, but all of the ideas I had seen seemed too ordinary and overdone. I decided I would make a cute Halloween Garden in them.
I started with these adorable wood signs from Walnut Hollow. I love the precut shapes!
Paint each sign a base color
Add cute details! I gave the cat, bat, and ghost cute faces, and added paper accents to the pumpkin and the cat's sign area.
I painted the sign part of the cat with chalkboard paint so that I could write on it! I love the spiderweb paper I found, it's perfectly Halloween.
Didn't they turn out cute? Now I could put together the garden!
I love how it turned out, and now my planters aren't sad and bare anymore! I share more details on my own blog, and on the Walnut Hollow blog you can click the link below to see.
