Bar Stool Makeover

I had picked up a set of bar stools from one of those Facebook garage sale pages. Sure, they were just fine the way they were but I wanted to give them some character.
I had been scouring the internet for some inspiration but didn't find anything that screamed unique.
I had picked up some old grain sacks from a sale that I planned to turn into cushions. I finally got around to washing them a few days ago when *ding* (insert picture of lightbulb here). I knew just what to do with the bar stools.
I removed the seats then laid down some plastic in my kitchen to paint.
A few coats of paint later...

Finally done painting...
I cut out what I would need for my cushions and set those pieces aside, then cut out some square pieces to upholster the bar stool seats with. I wrapped the seat with the piece of burlap and pulled it as tight as I could while stapling it to the bottom of the seat.
The finished product! They definitely have some character now!
