Porch Screen From Painted Windows

This is the final outcome. I painted, and an artist I'm not, random designs on old windows saved from my parents house. I used acrylic paint purchased from Wal-Mart, on sale.
After allowing it to dry I then sprayed a clear coat to add shine and to protect the paint. I then sprinkled glitter on the wet clear coat and finally another coat of clear. As a final step I painted poly all on the wood, just as an added protector from the weather.
My husband helped with the hanging. He purchased eye hooks and "s" hooks and installed them where I needed them to hang the windows. You should measure the windows and the space you want to put them so as to know how many and what direction to want them hung. The smaller one is just hung by hooks, no chain, since the space was not large enough. I didn't want it too cluttered.
