Glitter Cone Christmas Trees

You never knew a styrofoam cone could look so good! I actually made these last year and just opened up my Christmas storage boxes--and they still look great! So I'm going to show you how I made them so you can make your own.
You'll need 2 foam cones for each tree you make. A small one for the base, and then a bigger one for the top part.
Spread "Smooth Finish" (there's a link to the product in my blog post) all over the outside of the cones. As you might expect, it creates a smooth finish on the normally porous foam, making it very easy to paint.
The cones get painted (you can pick whatever color you like of course...I went with different shades of turquoise.) When the paint is dry, cover with any white glue and roll in "Diamond Dust" (again, there's a link in the post) Let dry, carve a hold in the bottom for the base cones and display.
What color will you paint yours?
