Faux Sea Glass Challenge!!!!

Victoria Howard
by Victoria Howard
Tried several different ways of making the home made Modge Podge.
This is just white school glue and food color. Closest yet, but not sea glass looking.
Added a candle. Pretty, but not right. Washed jar, scuffed with sandpaper....*sigh*

  • The best way to get the dull sea glass look is to paint the outside of the jar, instead of the inside. When you paint the inside, the glass jar makes it look shiny no matter what glue you are using. Hope that helps! :)

@Kelli @CraftShackChronicles I tried it again with glue, food color, drop dish soap. Put it on very thin. Still came out clear, no sea glass look.
