You can do yourself a big origami star. You can easily prepare it for cardboard. I put light kit in star. Now the star shines in the darkness beautifully. Make a star of pre-patterned or colored cardboard, or you can paint the star itself.
Origami star shining in the dark. The star is painted with gold paint. I put a thin layer of paint only. The light comes out easily through the board.
Cut a square of cardboard. Fold the triangle. First in one direction and then in the other direction.
Fold the square in half and then in half in the other direction.
Cut a slit on each side of the paper. Around the middle of the center and the edge of the paper. Fold the corners of a triangle shape.
Make two similar stars and glue them together.
