Rustic napkin rings (burlap & tree branches)

These are simple to make. The hardest part is slicing & drilling the tree branch buttons, but there are plenty of places on Etsy to buy them. (And slicing & drilling them isn't really hard at all!) You could sub in vintage buttons or costume jewelry with the burlap too.

I would make it easier by hot-gluing the little wood piece on (no need to drill holes). You could then hot glue a tiny burlap bow on each wood piece as well. Can even secure the burlap ring by overlapping on backside and again, using hotglue. Yes, I am a hot glue fan. I do not sew, but have made valances, upholstered furniture, glued decorative trims on items, costumes for kids, etc., etc. using hot glue.
