One of my goals for the New Year is to do a better job of capturing our family's happy moments. I'm going to do this the easy way with help of my children and a Memory Jar! Follow this simple tutorial for how to make a memory jar plus a FREE printable to help you get started.
Start by grabbing an empty plastic container from your recycling bin. Clean it well with soap and water then spray it down with my favorite cleaner to remove the sticky label.
Once I explained "Our Awesome of 2016" Memory Jar to the children, our youngest son was all about being the first one to add a memory.
This year don't let your family memories slip away! Enlist your children to help record them with this tutorial for How to Make a Memory Jar.

I love this idea. How easy to rush through our days and our normal routines. But how awesome to pause when something special or particularly happy comes along and memorialize it with a quick note or picture. I can see the family gathered around on New Year's Eve sharing these precious memories. I'm planning to make one for each of my grown kids. Thank you for sharing.
