Valentine Luminaries

Using a vase, make Valentine Luminaries that are lit with small Christmas battery lights.
Yes, don't put your small Christmas battery lights away just yet. This easy Valentine Luminary works as a centerpiece or even a night light in a little girl's room.
Using a vase of any size, cover it with white and pink (I used two shades of pink) tissue paper. This is the tear tissue paper and glue method. You can use watered-down white glue or Mod Podge. Turn the vase upside down and apply tissue paper pieces overlapping as you go. Cover the entire vase. When finished, go over again with another coat of watered-down glue.
When covered, cut out red hearts from red tissue paper and apply over the whites and pinks. When dry, place flowers or a bow on top and place the battery lights inside the vase. Easy enough for kids to do.
