DIY Herb Planter Box -- $25

I love cooking with fresh herbs so I decided that I wanted to grow my own on my back porch. I went to Home Depot to but a planter box and was shocked by the outrageous prices! I decided right then and there that I would build my own!
I always carry a notebook with me, so I sketched up my idea, and headed to the lumber section! With lumber in hand, this project only took me about an hour from start to finish! My materials only cost $25 -- less than HALF the price of the planter I liked at Home Depot!
The planter is perfect for my fresh herbs! I ended up staining it a pretty walnut color. :)
*I've also recently purchased a Kreg Jig, so I plan to make a few more with pocket holes to hide my screws!
Happy Gardening!
