Recycled Coin Wrapper Paper Flowers

A friend of mine that works at a bank knows how much I love upcycling, so one day she handed me a bag of paper coin wrappers and said. "here, what can you do with these?" I stared at them for a few seconds and knew immediately what to do.
All you need to make these flowers are 1) coin wrappers, 2) scissors, 3) glue, and if you are feeling adventurous, a 4) plastic gem. Here are the coin wrappers she gave me.
Simply cut each wrapper in strips as shown and open them up. These form the petals of your flower.
Glue the petals together to form a pretty paper flower.
That's it! I use them as gift wrapping embellishments, but you can turn them into an art piece by gluing several on a painted canvas. It's also a great craft for kids!
