I found these great vintage baskets at my local thrift store and inspiration struck! />
Here are the baskets. At a few bucks each, a great deal.
I chose the old Easter basket for my spring bulb garden. I decided to add a quick whitewash for a soft look.
I then placed plastic bags as a liner and filled the basket with potting soil.
The last step was inserting the bulbs and adding a few Easter eggs for color.
The bulbs are hyacinth and daffodils and should bloom soon. The hyacinth will smell heavenly in my home.
The whitewash on the basket looks soft and pretty.
The basket has a neat colored rope trim around the center.
My Easter basket spring bulb garden!
I'm adding a quick update to my post - they have bloomed!
