Gourd-tastic Wedding Gift

When my cousin was getting married for the second time, she and her husband-to-be didn't need anything for their home. Since my funds were limited, I opted to make them a gift that would add aesthetic functionality to their home. . . I made them a candle holder from a gourd grown in my garden.
Starting with a raw gourd, I used pyrography (wood burning), ink dyes, and pigment powders to create the votive holder.
