Bday Present Desk Makeover

Rochelle Hughes
by Rochelle Hughes
My grandsons birthday was coming up and I wanted to give him something useful that it would last him for years. I didn't want to buy something commercial that was made of particle board. I went on the search and I found a solid maple desk.
I wanted the desk to look good but also fun so he would want to spend time there. I started by sanding the piece down. I painted chalkboard paint on the top and this amazing blue from Benjamin Moore mixed with calcium carbonate ( line marker)
I used a wall paper to cover the drawers, sides and chair seat! My grandson loves it and now he wants to do his homework!

Rochelle, I looked at wallpaper.com and every other online wallpaper dealer and no one has your wallpaper. Would you mind awfully to look on the back of your leftover paper for the name of the pattern and the wallpaper company? I apologize in advance for your trouble. Many thanks!!
