Copied a Williams Sonoma towel design onto a dollar store apron for a high-end look for $1! Check out more projects at www.justanurseandherfurniture.com.
My incredible sister-in-law gave me a dish towel and a hot pad from Williams Sonoma that I love. I wanted an apron to match but didn't want to pay $30-$40 for it so I went to the dollar store, got a plain white apron, and used some Sharpies to copy the design. Voilà! Not bad for a dollar! 😉🍴
This is such a simple design it's hard to mess up.
I ended up using the thicker Sharpie mainly. Went on better than the thin one and you could see it a lot better.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:

Joanne Kelly on Apr 13, 2016Thanks for your speedy reply! So I wondered whether you transferred/traced the pattern to your apron or if you drew it freehand. Thanks again. ...Joanne
