Do you have a drawer that looks like this? I can't stand when I go to grab a cord and they are all tangled together.
This drawer was driving me crazy. I am a tea drinker but before recycling the boxes.....had an IDEA! Any small boxes will do! Cracker boxes, cookie boxes. Whatever is in your kitchen cupboards!
First, I cut the boxes the height of the drawer and to make them more shallow. I also used a Goldfish box for larger items.
The boxes are long, so I made dividers using the left over pieces of the box.
I wrapped the cords up in a circular shape and folded the ends in.
Here you can see how I made the divider! So simple.
I added two dividers to fit three cords in one box!
You can glue the dividers in to secure them if you like. I didn't.
And here it is! Nice and organized. No more tangles. I can see where everything is. AND.......
Other than my tea, that I buy anyway, I didn't spend a dime! Free organization containers!!!! Simple!!!! Hope you try it! ;) Hope you visit my blog and subscribe to lincludencottagelife.com for more ideas, DIY's and well......whatever else pops into my head!!!! ;)
Much better!
